Spox Salvador Panelo Burns Sen. Antonio Trillanes for Fears of Death Threats

Presidential Spokesman and the legal counsel of the Philippine President, Secretary Salvador Panelo burned down Senator Antonio Trillanes for his motion, asking the government to grant him an exemption for the COMELEC Gun Ban during the election period.


Sen. Trillanes stated during a press briefing that his camp is asking for an exemption from the COMELEC for the Gun Ban because of the fact that he is still receiving active death threats from the camp of Pres. Duterte.



Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo burned down the statement made by Trillanes as he responded by saying "Guni-guni n'ya lang yon. He is being ignored nga, hindi siya pinapansin." Panelo stated.

The Presidential spokesperson also noted that Trillanes is an illusionist and he is no longer surprised with the recent pronouncement of the controversial lawmaker.

"He is an illusionist, I'm not, I'm longer surprised," Panelo added.



Sen. Antonio Trillanes claimed that he has received information that the President wants to him killed. Due to the said information, he sought for a gun ban exemption during the election period.

Aside from Trillanes there are other lawmakers also who are asking for gun ban exemption as they claimed that the Philippines is no longer safe under the administration of Pres. Rody Duterte.
