Ex-Army Ranger: Richard Santillan's Death Leaves a Strong Signal of Intimidation to Smartmatic Critics

A veteran ex-Army Ranger and intelligence officer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Sir Abe Purugganan revealed on social media that Richard Santillan's death leaves a strong signal of intimidation to those objecting to the continued use of Smartmatic in the coming 2019 elections despite high profile cases of smart digitalized cheating.


According to former Army Major Abe Purugganan, the alleged ambush and slaying of long time aide and bodyguard of Atty. Glenn Chong could be a sign of political murder in guise of Tokhang.



The veteran Army Ranger also noted that the death of Santillan, Atty. Glenn Chong's bodyguard is truly abominable. Atty. Chong is considered as the loudest and most formidable oppositor of Smartmatic provided elections.

Sir Abe Purugganan explained further that Richard Santillan is not just an ordinary bodyguard, despite being the only one securing Atty. Chong's physical safety, he was also an advocate of poor children in private life.

It does not only leave Glenn vulnerable but it leaves a strong signal of intimidation to those objecting to the continued use of Smartmatic in the coming 2019 elections despite high profile cases of smart digitalized cheating.

Who was Richard Santillan, the murdered driver /bodyguard? Aside from being the only one securing Glenn's physical safety he was an advocate of poor children in private life.

He used to solicit gifts wished for by children he assists every Christmas. This Christmas these children will be wistful instead. High priced politics may have taken Richard's life but please let us not take away the goodness in him. TANDEM
