Netizens Lauded Duterte Admin for Boracay's Stunning & Newly Installed Brick Layered Side Walks (Photos)

Netizens took to social media as they lauded the Dutertea administration's efforts of cleaning the beautiful island of Boracay as they shared the new look of the island with it's stunning and newly installed brick layered sidewalks.

Photos of the newly installed brick layered sidewalk on Bulabog Road was posted on social media by one of the country's most trusted news media outlet, Philippine Star.

Based upon the photos posted by PhilStar on their official Facebook Page, Boracay Island looked lovelier than before after the government decided to add some brick layered sidewalk on Bulabog Road in preparation for its grand reopening this coming October 26, 2018.

For the past six months, Boracay Island, one of the world's top island destinations was ordered closed to tourists for rehabilitation due to the political will of Pres. Rody Duterte. Boracay Island is set to open again to the public this coming October 26. The closure of Boracay was because of the negligence and lack of foresight of management and resort owners, and even dubbed by Pres. Duterte himself as a "cesspool."

In the viral photos of PhilStar, the local government units of Malay, Aklan and Boracay Island added some beautiful brick layered sidewalks on Bulabog Road, which is next to the white beaches on the island. The said bricks looks so stunning especially with a drone shot, some netizens even dubbed the beaches as comparable to Dubai, with its beautiful and classy surroundings.

According to Department of Public Works and Highways there are still road surfaces that might still be at 75-80% complete when the reopening date comes but they are doing their best to make it "significantly finished," by that time, because it may take two years to fully finish the rehabilitation of major thoroughfares in Boracay Island.

Here's Some Words of Appreciations from Concerned Netizens:

Joy Zantua See how good our now president is! You can see where your taxes are going to... not in his pocket but it's going back to the Philippines!

Jan Ligan WOW! Looks really world class now... been there last December 2017, curious about the sand, yes, it answered my curiosity but not the atmosphere. Only stayed for two nights and went straight to El Nido Palawan, which far more awesome views and beaches... but this NEW BORACAY is truly amazing make over!

I’m truly hopeful FILIPINOS and FOREIGNERs alike be more responsible in keeping it CLEAN.
