Sen. Trillanes Could Be Arrested Anytime After Makati RTC Branch 148 Received DOJ's Reply on His Pleading
The controversial opposition lawmaker, Sen. Antonio Trillanes could be arrested anytime according to some political advisers after the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 148 received DOJ's reply on the senator's pleading for his coup d'tat case in relation to his involvement in the 2003 Oakwood Mutiny.
According to Presiding Judge Andres Soriano they already received he 8-page comments of the Department of Justice to accused Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV's supplement to the comment and opposition. This is in connection with the pleading of the DOJ to issue an alias warrant of arrest against Sen. Antonio Trillanes.
Makati City RTC Branch 148 Clerk of Court Atty. Maria Rhodoro Peralta, the motion of the DOJ was already submitted for resolution and the results could be release today or on Friday, September 28, 2018.
Before the DOJ's motion in reply to Trillanes, the senator commented that athe prosecution failed to present some evidence that the amnesty given to him by former Pres. Noynoy Aquino was void from the very beginning.
The coup d'tat case of Sen. Antonio Trillanes handled by Makati RTC Branch 148 is a non-bailable case compared to his earlier rebellion case wherein he was able to post a P200,000 bail for his temporary release.
Meanwhile, according to the camp of Sen. Antonio Trillanes, his legal team are now planning for their actions in the highly anticipated case of the senator being handled by Makati RTC Branch 148 which is non-bailable. They will be doing their best to counter any decision of RTC Branch 148 and are hoping for a positive report and the judge will make the right decision.
