Bloggers Lauded Pres. Duterte's Soaking Wet Footage Showing Why We Should Follow His Lead

Prominent bloggers and political analysts Malou Tiqua and Monching Lumantas shared on their latest social media post why we should follow the lead of Pres. Rody Duterte and helped him in anyway we can as they lauded also the gesture of the President refusing to take an umbrella during the Police Service Anniversary to show his solidarity to us Filipinos.

According to Malou Tiquia, despite Pres. Duterte's age and as seen in the viral video during the Police Service Anniversary he was tied, weary and unhappy and yet he really tried to be the role model for every Filipinos. Despite the numerous crisis and controversies his administration face, he is still standing tall and proved once and for all that the 16 million Filipinos who voted for him made the right choice.

Malou Tiquia suggested that we should support Pres. Duterte and encourage everyone particularly workers of government to provide a steady hand to guide the President and offer him wise counsel in the Cabinet instead of shooting down Federalism publicly.

Politicians and critics should provide solutions than raise problem, after problem, after problem in infrastructure development and #BuildBuildBuild. Tiquia reminded all government officials that it is not only Pres. Duterte who is running the government, because we have a capable and efficient cabinet system but why are policies and programs bad in roll out.

Here's the Complete Post of Malou Tiquia:

Tired, weary n unhappy. That is the Presidency for this man.

To his team, how can you even be the source of crisis after crisis after crisis? Why can’t you be a steady hand to guide him n offer wise counsel in the cabinet instead of shooting down #Federalism publicly? Why can’t you provide solutions than raise problem, after problem, after problem in infrastructure development and #BuildBuildBuild?

Who is running government? Is it just the president? You have a capable n efficient cabinet system but why are policies and programs bad in roll out?

And to the men and women in uniform, why can’t you, for once, be serious to your uniform? The president has given you so much.

The president under the rain during a passing review should unnerve us all. He is not perfect, oh so rough, but here is a guy from Mindanao, doing everything he can to at least make every Filipino matter and hopefully change the country for good. Crude ways for some but the guy has mandate. Why don’t you help? Let us be constructive. Let us reach across the aisle and for once, let’s rediscover respect? We might be from opposing camps but the decibels need to stop so we can have some quiet to find out good solutions, options and alternatives.

It’s not hard to do these things if we just have PH in our minds. Thanks to Monching Lumantas for this post.

Monching Lumantas on his part who shared a set of photos of Pres. Duterte being soaked in the rain during the parade, reminded everybody that there is NO other Commander-in-Chief in history who has shown utmost humility, sympathy and solidarity to his brave men and women on the ground... until Pres. Rody Duterte came to office.

Here's the Complete Statement of Monching Lumantas:

A LAME DUCK PRESIDENT

There is NO other Commander-in-Chief in history who has shown utmost humility, sympathy and solidarity to his brave men and women on the ground ....until now ☺

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte refused to use an umbrella and was literally "soak and wet" by the sudden heavy downpour of rain during the parade of honors at the 117th Police Service Anniversary held at Camp Crame yesterday, Aug.7, 2018.

He was in usual fiery and feisty mood during his speech :

TO ALL HIS CRITICS : "Look, I have hit the firewall. I cannot run again. For all intents and purposes, actually I am a lame duck President. If you are talking about politics, okay. I will not interfere anyway because after this, I cannot even run for a barangay captain. I have reached my limits."

TO ALL CORRUPT OFFICIALS : "Yesterday, I fired the council of Nayong Pilipino. All of them. You do not give gambling licenses or franchise for 75 years. You mean to say that, a child is born today, and 75 years later, he's that old, there will still be gambling in this city? I will not allow it."

You're already 73, please stay healthy
