A controversial video of an alleged arrogant Municipal employee from Tingloy, Batangas made headlines on social media after her failed attempt of going viral backfired as she received numerous backlash from netizens for allegedly "showing off" her wealth and arrogance.
The Municipal employee was identified as Dada Atienza as she went viral on social media because of the controversial video, showing an attendant on the road to Tingloy asked for a P50.00 environmental fee for them to swim in that particular area of Tingloy.

Dada Atienza claimed that she worked for the Municipal government of Tingloy which will exempt her and her family for paying the required P50.00 environmental fee, but instead of saying that she came from Tingloy, at first she claimed that she lived in Batangas City.
During the conversation with the attendant, the viral municipal employee did not admit that she's a resident of Tingloy, but during the time when when she was charged, she did not admit that she's a resident of the place. In the end of the video, she said she's from Tingloy and she's a municipal employee, that's why the attendant gave her money worth P500.00 back, to which she arrogantly replied: "Thank you. Pero willing ako magbayad kung gusto niyo."
Based upon the viral video, there's no doubt the Municipal employee was trying to make it look like they were just being extorted, the women even can be heard, "video mo ko." At the same time also she got her seemingly extravagant bag and got some small bills (barya) but it's not a small bill, because it's a P500.00 bill.
Despite the intention of the Municipal employee to raise awareness of extortion, netizens did not side with her as she received numerous backlash from what she was doing. The point is that, she could have told the attendant that she was from Tingloy immediately so she won't get charged.
The municipal employee became an instant hit on social media as she was criticized by netizens but instead of admitting her mistakes, she replied arrogantly by saying "Ay masama daw yang banat ko hindi daw ganyan dapat nakikipag usap ang mga taga LGU.. dapat yata me yabang na.. hoy taga munisipyo ako.. hahaha." Dada Atienza stated.
