OFW Nurse in London In Danger of Deportation for Mocking Pres. Rody Duterte

An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Nurse in London is now in danger of deportation because of his Twitter post of a photoshopped Duterte which is considered as a way of mocking the President. A concerned British citizen and self-proclaimed Duterte supporter reported the case involving the mockery of the OFW Nurse from London.

The Filipino worker in the United Kingdom may lose his high-paying job just because of a post that he uploaded on Twitter. The possible deportation will take place if the UK and the Philippine governments take action on the complaint of Londoner and Pinoy-at-Heart Duterte supporter, Malcolm Conlan, a prominent Duterte supporter.

According to Conlan, the OFW Nurse in London could be guilty of defamation, or when a statement that can potentially or likely harm to individual's or business' reputation is posted for the public to see, and then it was proven false.

This is what JR Castillo did on social media, the OFW nurse allegedly posted a photoshopped photo of Pres. Rody Duterte lying down with his eyes closed as if he had passed away. Castillo also added the following statement "Ilagay na yan sa LNMB sa lalong madaling panahon. Sino gusto tumulong sa paghukay ng pagbabauan sa kanya?" Castillo tweeted.

In another post, Castillo also said that the president should rot in hell. Castillo was quoted as saying "My patients didn't kill people. My patients didn't make oppressive policies. Typical DDS kabobohan. If Du30 becomes my patient, I'll treat him like other patients. I have a duty of care for my patients. But Duterte still deserves to rot and burn in hell. PHL is better w/o him." Castillo tweeted.

The statement of JR Castillo did not sit well among the Duterte supporters particularly the British DDS-Blogger Malcolm Conland who didn't find amusing the statement and mockery presented by Castillo on social media.

In a lengthy social media post, Malcolm Conlan called out the government of the United Kingdom and the Philippines to take action to what Castillo posted on social media.

Here's the Complete Post of Malcolm Conlan:

For the attention of Philippine Government officials both in the UK and the Philippines. This photoshop image of the President was shared and posted on Twitter by a filipino, who I believe is a nurse in the United Kingdom, Mr JR CASTILLO, who I also believe resides in Wimbledon, Surrey.

I am very very reluctant to post this, as to protect Mr Castillo and even myself from personal harm, however my attention had been drawn to it on Twitter. I am sharing this to protect the Philippine President. I believe I am in my rights to share this as a concerned netizen.

I can't say whether he is just reposting this of or in fact he made it. All I can say is that JR Castillo, a nurse, your job I believe, is to save lives and respect them.

Also as a Filipino, I believe you should respect the office of the President, even if you don't necessarily agree with all the policies of the current one. To me, President Rodrigo Duterte is a good man, but much more than that, I consider him to be a frient. I find this Twitter post of yours to be utterly disgusting and shameful.

By sharing this photo, I believe I am doing my duty as a British citizen, in the hope that this can be appropriately investigated. Much more than that, I am doing to protect a frient who I greatly admire and respect.

I do hope you don't have any plans of going home to the Philippines anytime soon Mr Castillo, as I believe you will have a lot to answer for.

Once long ago, we actually spoke and I offered out an olive branch to you, I now take it away. Your photoshop image of the President and remarks make me grieve for you. To think you are also a nurse in our National Health Service. Shame.

God bless and let's all continue to protect and pray for the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
