he million-worth of sturdy ballot boxes of Smartmattic were destroyed by rainwater according to the alibis released by the COMELEC Officer in Miagao Iloilo. Veteran lawyer, Atty. Glenn Chong could not believe on the alleged alibi of COMELEC with regards to the destroyed ballot boxes in Iloilo.
In an explanation presented to the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, the COMELEC Officer in Iloilo reported, wet ballots were descovered and totally destroyed due to rainwater. The cause of the rainwater was due to the fact that the warehouse were the ballot boxes were kept for safeguarding were having leaks causing rainwater to enter the warehouse.
The Iloilo Municipal Treasurer confirmed that they first clean some of the we ballots and marked with labels for easier identification. The ballots were then put inside plastic bags and make a package out of carton boxes.

Nalusaw ng husto at buo ang “numerous” ballot boxes na ipinagyayabang ng Smartmatic na matibay at binayaran ng Comelec ng ilang daang milyong piso.
Pero bakit may natira pang mga election documents na diumano ay pinatuyo, nilinis, nilagyan ng label, ipinasok sa plastic bags, ipinasok sa carton boxes at finally ipinasok pa sa loob ng picnic boxes. Ang daming hakbang na ginawa ang Comelec at Municipal Treasurer’s Office para sa conservation ng “completely destroyed” election documents samantalang ang matibay na ballot boxes ay completely nawala o nalusaw.
Hindi tumugma ang kanilang istorya. Ang sinungaling ay kapatid ng magnanakaw.
Upang makalusot ang pandaraya sa halalan, ang pinakamabilis na paraan upang pagtakpan ito ay sirain ang mga physical ballots at voter receipts na nasa loob ng mga ballot boxes upang walang ibang susuriin at gagamitin ang PET sa revision kundi ang mga ballot images na lamang na hawak at tinamper na rin ng Comelec at Smartmatic.
Kaya nga “totally destroyed” ang ginamit na termino ng Comelec report upang wala na talagang pagpipilian ang PET kundi ang tampered ballot images na lamang.
Pero maari pa naman itong harangin ng kampo ni BBM at ipakita sa PET na tampered nga ang mga ballot images. Kapag kinatigan ito ng PET, nawawalan ng bisa ang mga resulta sa mga presintong ito. At dahil malaki ang panalo ni Robredo sa mga presintong ito, siya ang mawawalan ng mas maraming boto.
