Pro-Duterte and Anti-Duterte took to social media and shared their contrasting reactions in the controversial Presidential kiss of Pres. Rody Duterte during his visit in South Korea.
Pro Duterte supporters such as Atty. Darwin Cañete stated that the President can never be a misogynist because of his gesture towards the OFW based in Korea.
Netizen Rose Libertino also noted that she posted the controversial kiss of President Duterte with an OFW in Korea to scoop out the media and the haters of Pres. Duterte who will surely sensationalize the kiss of the President.
Meanwhile, Anti-Duterte netizens like Bayan Muna leader Renato Reyes lambasted the President's gesture of kissing the OFW in South Korea.
Renato Reyes was quoted as saying "Bale ganito nangyari sa speech ng Pangulo sa Korea. May 2 audience members n Pinoy na umakyat sa stage para kumuha ng aklat mula sa Pangulo. Yung isa may beso sa pisngi ng Pangulo. Yung isa naman, sinenysan ng Pangulo ng lips to lips na gesture. Nagtilian ang mga tao. Mukhang nataranta ang cameraman ng RTVM dahil live TV ito at kung anuman ang maging sumunod na eksena ay hindi na nya ito mabubura. So biglang zoom out si cameraman, at nag audience shot. Hindi ko na alam kung natuloy ba yung kiss kasi sa iba na nakatutok ang camera. Pinagpapawisan na siguro si Martin Andanar. Basta nagtilian ang mga tao. Hula ko lang, mukhang di naman humantong sa lips to lips. Bumalik uli ang camera sa Pangulo nung tapos na ang lahat. Medyo shocked pa ako sa napanood ko kaya nasulat ko ito. Di ko pa na-process. He’s a lecherous old man throwing his weight around. He probably thinks any woman would feel flattered that a President wants to kiss her on the lips.
