Veteran broadcaster and TV personality Jay Sonza, who is also known as one of the most vocal supporter of Pres. Rody Duterte, lambasted the mainstream media both the radio and TV networks for allegedly sensationalizing the one year anniversary of the Marawi Siege.
According to Jay Sonza after the liberation of Marawi City from the attack of the ISIS-Maute Group, the traditional media as well as the politicians who tried to ride on with the issue, they left the entire province of Lanao del Sur but he was surprised with the renewed interest of some politicians and the media on the rehabilitation of Marawi City, a year after the incident.
The veteran broadcaster and political analyst stated that a year after the liberation of Marawi, the mainstream media once again made some noise and criticized the rehabilation efforts of the Duterte administration as they noted that there seems to be a slow movement in terms of Marawi City recovery and rehabilation efforts.
Jay Sonza lambasts all the news anchor who seems to project themselves as experts in war torn rehabiliation program in the world giving their unsolicited advices to the administration of Pres. Rody Duterte.
