Pulse Asia's Senatorial Survey Results Questioned by Duterte Supporters

Some supporters of Pres. Rody Duterte took to social media after one of the leading poll firm, Pulse Asia released the official Senatorial Survey Results showing a poor showing of Duterte supporters who are planning to run for Senator.

The latest Pulse Asia survey results showed Sen. Grace Poe as the Number One (1) choice of Filipinos in the nationwide survey conducted by the survey firm. Out of the 58 names included in the surveys, 15-of whom 11 are either former or incumbent senators-would have a statistical chance of winning a seat had the elections been held during the March 23-28 survey period.

According to Pulse Asia, the margin of error for the Senatorial Survey results is at plus or minus 3 percent, showing that 70.8 percent of Filipino adults would have boted for Sen. Grace poe, catapulting her to solo first place.

Pulse Asia asked 1,200 adults nationwide: "If the 2019 elections were held today, who among the following personalities would you vote for, assuming they would run for office?” The poll outfit provided a list of candidates and asked the respondents to choose only 12.

Some netizens doubts the ranking of Sen. Grace Poe as the top choice because they believe that the top spot could be dominated by Presidential daughter Sara Duterte and they were even surprised upon learning that SAP Bong Go did not make it to the elite Magic 12 in the latest Pulse Asia survey.
