Netizens Lauded DOTr for Passenger's Convenience Riding the MRT-3 Line But Not Reported by Media

Netizens took to social media as they lauded the achievement of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) in terms of passenger convenience for all Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) passengers plying the EDSA route.


According to some netizens who posted positive feedback on Facebook, for the past few days, right after the scheduled yearly maintenance of MRT-3, there were no reported malfunctions and passenger inconvenience.



This is also the first time in the history of the MRT-3 since the assumption of Pres. Rody Duterte as the country's President and the appointment of Arthur Tugade as head of the DOTr that the MRT passengers lauded the accomplishments of the national government.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) rehired the services of Sumitomo Corporation for the maintenance of Metro Rail Transit line 3 after they were not rehired during the administration of former Pres. Aquino.

The Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) managed to deploy 15 trains after it conducted maintenance work during the Holy Week as they look forward to deploy 20 trains before the end of this year as promised earlier by the DOTr under the new maintenance provider.
