Concerned Netizen Lambasts SunStar for Reporting the P20-Billion Government Lose on Boracay Closure

Concerned netizen who is based in the United States, Edwin Jamora lambasts SunStar, the country's most popular network of community newspaper for their alleged biased reporting about the controversial P20-billion government lose once Boracay will be closed to tourists.

The US-based blogger, Edwin Jamora called out the attentions of Sun Star through his social media account as he stated that the Sunstar headline saying "Government to Lose P20 Billion Income with Boracay Closure," is how the brains of bobo thinkers work.

According to Jamora, the newspaper did not realize the future benefits of saving Boracay. He also challenged the newspaper company to compute the present value of the future benefits of making sure that future generations enjoy Boracay plus all the money coming in.

The concerned netizen also noted that maybe Sunstar did not know the present value of the future benefits to be derived once Boracay will become fancy and swanky. What the newspaper did is to instill fears among Boracay residents without thinking about the future of the island.

Edwin Jamora also calculated the future benefits of Boracay closure, for example if the benefits in the year 2030 could reach P50 Million - how much is P50 Million this 2018. Meaning you need to convert the P50 million to the value of the said benefits today.

Here's the Complete Revelations of Edwin Jamora:

his is how the brains of bobo thinkers work. Their headline is "GOVERNMENT TO LOSE P20 BILLION INCOME WITH BORACAY CLOSURE"

Hindi nila naisip yong future benefits of saving Boracay. Now, let me ask SunStar - compute the present value of the future benefits of making sure that future generations enjoy Boracay plus all those money coming in, aver?

Ahhhhh.... hindi siguro nila alam kung ano ang present value nung future benefits na made-derive pag meron pang fancy and swanky Boracay.

Hmpt! Mga simbergwenza! Puro pananakot! Hindi iniisip am fyutyur!

Mag-aral nga uli kayo!

Tse!!@#$%^&*()

(Present value nung future benefits? Ganito po yon. Halimbawa ang mare-receive mong benefits in Year 2030 na aabot nang Php50,000,000 - magkano ang Php50 million na yan ngayong Year 2018? Meaning, i co convert po yong P50 million na value sa value ngayong 2018. Yan ang ibig sabihin nang Present Value.)
