Spox Harry Roque Reveals How Pres. Duterte Found Ways to Pass the Free Tuition Law

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque explained during a press conference that President Rody Duterte did nothing to suppress press freedom in the country due to his controversial statement about some students from UP who walked out from theis respective classes.


According to Spox Harry Roque, the President was misquoted on his statement that he will replace some UP students once they will not stop from staging their walk out protest. Spox Roque even revealed that Pres. Duterte tried to find different ways to approve the free tuition law for college students from public tertiary education.

Spox Roque stated that the President clearly said that he don't want somebody from UP to staged a walk out protest because this is the first time that the taxpayer's money will be used as college tuition fees for all SUC students and they don't deserved to study if they will continue to protest against the government who provided them with quality education.

The President will never suppress the freedom of the press or the freedom of expressions of the students as they are free to protest anytime but not during classes hours because they are using the taxpayer's money.

Spokesperson Harry Roque clarified the issue about the statement of Pres. Duterte that he will replace the UP students who keeps on protesting against the government through walk out after misinformation spreads like wildfire on social media, accusing Pres. Duterte of suppressing the freedom of expression of the students.
