SAP Bong Go Expose Rappler & Inquirer's Fake News Leading to Senate Hearing on Frigate Deal (Video)

Special Assistant to the President and considered as one of the most trusted ally of Pres. Rody Duterte, Secretary Bong Go called on the attentions of Rappler and Inquirer for spreading fake news that leads to the Senate Inquiry on the controversial frigate deal which was started by the Aquino admin and continued by the present administration.


During the Senate Hearing on Frigate Deals, SAP Bong Go insisted that Rappler and Inquirer are spreading fake news as he gave some evidences and proof on how they spread fake news in the mainstream media.

According to SAP Bong Go, the reasons why Rappler's headlines is fake news is because of the following facts. First of all Rappler's headlines that says "Bong Go Intervenes in P15.5 Billion Project to Acquire Philippine Warships." The next problem is the amount given by Rappler and the third reason is the report of Rappler that Bong Go intervenes to reverse the decision on the said frigate deal."

SAP Bong Go also challenged all the audiences to proved Rappler's claim that he intervened in the frigate deals and if proven guilty of intervening, he will immediately resign from his post. He also mentioned how Inquirer peddled fake news in the morning against him and made a follow up with Rappler's headlines that he intervenes in the frigate deal.

The name of SAP Bong Go was dragged to the frigate deal controversy after the headlines of Rappler saying that he intervenes in the frigate deal went viral in the mainstream media and was sensationalized by the other big news network in the country.

Some members of the opposition, particularly the Magdalo lawmakers Sen. Antonio Trillanes and Rep. Gary Alejano who insisted to pursue an investigations against SAP Bong Go who allegedly intervened in the controversial frigate deal.

SAP Bong Go also added further that "Inuudyukan ang Pilipino na mag rebolusyon kasi malapit na ang Edsa Anniversary. Antayin na lang po ninyo ang inyong panahon, nagmamadali po masyado kayo. 2022 uuwi na po kami ng Davao."
