Netizens took to social media as they defended Mocha Uson after Sen. Grace Poe asked the senators and the PCOO whether it is now the right time to close down the official Facebook Page of Mocha Uson which allegedly spreads fake news on social media.
During the Senate Hearing on Fake News presided by Sen. Grace Poe, she asked PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar to identify the real role of Mocha Uson as Asec on social media and remind her of showing some restraints on everything she posted on her blog.
According to some netizens who responded with the call to shut down Mocha Uson, Sen. Grace Poe should learn first that the reasons why Mocha's service was tapped was due to the fact of her huge following on social media and her job as Asec served it's purpose.
Mocha Uson on her latest post stated that she will not shut down her Mocha Uson Blog because her blog served as the true voice of the people in the Philippines particularly the OFW and the marginalized.
