217 Former NPA Members Flying to Manila to Meet with Pres. Duterte

The Malacañang Palace revealed to the local media in Davao City that a total of 217 former NPA members who surrendered to the government flew to Manila for an exclusive dinner meeting with Pres. Rody Duterte.


The former NPA members were escorted by military officers and organizers flying together with the use of the Philippine Air Force largest air asset, the C-130 cargo plane from Davao City to Manila.

Early morning today, February 6, 2018, the former NPA rebels were gathered together on board the C-130 at the Tactical Operations Group XI, Old Airport, Sasa, Davao City.

Aside from the exclusive dinner meeting with the Philippine President, the former NPA rebels will be having an educational tours inside the famous walled city of Intramuros as well scheduled visits in various tourists sites and particularly they will be having a tour inside the Malacañang Palace.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will bring the former rebels to Bulacan for a very important tour, particularly in the mushroom production and other farms for them to have an idea or to learn something new on how to improve their livelihood with the help of TESDA.

With the recent efforts of the Duterte admin, they urged the remaining NPA rebels who are still fighting in the mountains to surrender their arms and returned to the fold of the government right now because the President will be more than willing to provide livelihood for them provided that they will support the national government's effort to curb extremism and communism in the countryside.
