Spox Harry Roque Slams DZMM (ABS-CBN) for Spreading Fake News

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque called the attention of one of the country's largest news media network, ABS-CBN particularly their radio station DZMM, after the station allegedly spreads fake news on their coverage.

According to Spox Harry Roque he would like to bring the attention of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs regarding the erroneous news crawler on DZMM TeleRadyo last night which reads, "Roque: Pabor si Pang Duterte sa binuong kasunduan ni Lozano."

The crawler information was said to be anchored from a news item aired on TV Patrol. The presidential spokesman explained that what he said during the press briefing was that the Chief Executive needs a law authorizing him to enter into such agreement.

Here's the Complete Statement of Spox Harry Roque:

FAKE NEWS FROM DZMM (ABSCBN)

From Spox Harry -

On the DZMM News Crawler/ News item.

I like to bring the attention of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs regarding the erroneous news crawler on DZMM TeleRadyo last night which reads, “Roque: Pabor si Pang Duterte sa binuong kasunduan ni Lozano” which said to be anchored from a news item aired on TV Patrol. What I said during yesterday’s press briefing was that the Chief Executive needs a law authorizing him to enter into such agreement.

The Marcoses denied that they gave Atty. Oliver Lozano the authority to represent the family. The President thus cannot give his consent over a proposed agreement which is not propounded by a legal representative or from someone with no authority from the Marcoses. There was also no instance in the briefing that I stated that an agreement had already been reached/formed.I hope this clarifies the matter
