Former presidential bet and lawmaker, Sen. Grace Poe asked the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) headed by Secretary Martin Andanar, whether it is now the right time to close down the popular Mocha Uson Blog because of conflict of interest.
During the Senate Hearing on Fake News, Sen. Grace Poe asked the PCOO whether they will continue to allow PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on her service with the government or they will let go of Mocha and continued her blogging as a private individual, so that she could be free from any criticisms as government official.

Sen. Grace Poe, the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media asked the pressing questions to the officials of the PCOO during the senate hearing on fake news.
According to Sen. Poe, the PCOO Asec Uson is overlapping with her official function as an official of the communications department at her being a blogger of the popular Mocha Uson Blog which has more than 5 million followers on Facebook.
The senator as PCCO Chief Martin Andanar "Have you ever considered that perhaps this is a conflict of interest and it could be shut down, sir?" Sen. Poe asked Andanar.
Secretary Martin Andanar responded by saying that he already discussed the issue with Asec Mocha Uson, on her blog as well as on her freedom of expression and the way she discussed issues on Facebook.
