Netizens took to social media as they lauded and recognized the efforts of Secretary Mark Villar who made sure that the speedy recovery and reconstruction of the damaged bridges be completed within the time allocated by no less than Pres. Rody Duterte.
Sec. Mark Villar posted before and after photos of the two bridges damaged during the onslaught of Bagyong Agaton and Bagyong Urduja in the provinces of Lanao del Norte and Biliran respectively.
According to the DPWH Secretary the Daligdigan Bridge, a 49-meter bridge located at Salvador, Lanao del Norte, which was damaged by Typhoon Agaton last December, is now open to the public.
Sec. Villar also reported that following the timeline set by Pres. Duterte, the Caray-Caray Bridge in Biliran Province which was affected by Typhoon Urduja is now open to the public.
