Veteran international lawyer and the sister of the late Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack made another interesting expose on social media as she wanted all Filipinos to look at the sequence of events involving Rappler and how they were able to allegedly manipulate the news and public opinions.
Atty. Paula Knack also questioned the integrity of some lawmakers, particularly those who were siding with Rappler despite the fact of their clear violations of the Philippine Constitution's restriction on foreign ownership.
According to the international lawyer, she wondered why some senators sides with Rappler when they violates the constitutions and laws which they swore to uphold. Those who are loud in their defense of Rappler are also the loudest advocates of "Rule of Law."
Sen. Miriam's sister also exposed the timeline on how Rappler was able to capture even the international media with the pretext that they are under attack in exercising the freedom of the press and how it could possible affect the "excellent" ratings of Pres. Duterte.

Immediately, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, MSN.com, Reuters, etc. react immediately in less than a couple of hours (!) that the media firm critical of PRRD was closed in suppression of press freedom. But it took European media firms a lot longer to pick up the Rappler closure. It was announced it the day after, not on the same day. WE CHECKED THIS.
