Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack the sister of the late Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago explained the SALN Issues in the impeachment trials of the former Chief Justice Renato Corona and Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
According to Atty. Paula Knack for those who did not follow CJ Corona's impeachment trial during the admin of former Pres. Aquino, the former Chief Justice was convicted because of alleged bribery.
There is also a presumption during the Corona trial that unexplained wealth is ill-gotten wealth but there is a huge difference now regarding the case of CJ Sereno.
