Must See: Soldiers Celebrates Marawi Victory After Neutralizing Omar Maute & Isnilon Hapilon

Photos of soldiers celebrating the Marawi City siege victory went viral on social media after the authorities confirmed that they neutralized Maute rebel group leader Omar Maute and Abu Sayyaf leader and considered as Asia's ISIS emir, Isnilon Hapilon.




The victory of the government forces was finally achieved after almost five months of battle, the soldiers are now confident to celebrate as photos of Maute and Hapilon are now circulating on social media.

The viral photo showed the soldiers celebrating the death of the two terrorist leaders who led the bloody siege in Marawi City which resulted to the death of 47 civilians and 162 government forces.

Based upon the records of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the government troops already killed 822 militants since the Marawi siege began.

The most elite and selected members of the Philippine Army's Scout Ranger and several Special Forces were tasked to do the final assault against the Maute leaders. Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute were killed inside a building beside the Binidayan dock in Lanao Del Sur.

Bodies of the two most wanted terrorists are now at a military headquarters to undergo DNA test, along with other members of the Maute Terrorist Group killed during the operation.

Despite the reported deaths of the two terrorist leaders, the AFP said that are several local and international terrorists remained in the battlefield that needed to be neutralized by the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
