One of the country's richest lawmaker, Sen. Cynthia Villar accused opposition senators Risa Hontiveros and Bam Aquino of allegedly trying to destroy the Senate Majority Bloc during her manifestation in the Senate Floor.
Sen. Villar stated that she received an information from some media practitioners that somebody from the Senate will try to destroy her, at first she don't believe the report but now she realized that the information could be true because of the recent incident wherein she was attacked on social media by some anonymous blog.

The former Congresswoman now Sen. Villar made a manifestation during the Senate session on Wednesday about the accusations that she did not sign a Senate Resolution against the killing of minor, wherein her name was included in the list of seven senators.
Villar denied that she did not sign the resolution, because in the first place, she's not aware that there's a resolution against the killings of the minors.
Sen. Villar was quoted as saying "I just want to make a manifestation that I, together with the other senators were not asked to sign," "We did not refuse to sign, we were not asked to sign," she added.
The wife of billionaire Manny Villar also noted during her speech that there are two senators who are allegedly trying to destroy the majority bloc, they are senators Risa Hontiveros and Bam Aquino, both are members of the Senate Minority Bloc, composed mostly of senators from the Liberal Party.
The Senator was quoted as saying "It’s really somebody from the social media told me before, long time ago that there are two senators going to destroy us. But I did not believe it,” she said.
“It just when I saw the blog, then I started thinking that it was really true. I want to clarify Bam and Risa, they told me really that Bam Aquino and Risa Hontiveros will try to destroy us. I did not believe it, but now when I saw that blog, I said, maybe this is the beginning." she added.
