Aside from warning those people plotting the ouster of the President, Sec. Andanar also lambasts the biased media in front of veteran host Karen Davila. He warned the media to be fair with Pres. Duterte because they keeps on reporting only the bad side of President.

Presidential Communications Office Secretary Martin Andanar strongly states during an interview with Karen Davila on Headstart that if somebody who wants to overthrow the President that's their right it's also Andanar's right to protect the President.
Sec. Martin Andanar was quoted as saying "The people who are written here, and if we find out that they are really part of this scheme, we will go after you. If you are in the America, enjoying the cold winter nights of the United States in New York City or whatever you are, just make sure that when you come home to the Philippines that you are ready to face the music," he said.
