Sec. Piñol met with BDE Chief Executive Officer Kai Hauvala and Director Tomi Pekkola before they fly back to Finland via Hongkong at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
Before the meeting between the DA Secretary and the BDE Executives, the top executives of the Finnish company inspected rubber plantations and processing plants in North Cotabato for three day and were impressed by the potentials of the country's fledgling industry.
The visit of the top executives of Black Donuts Engineering is a welcome development in the Philippines particularly in Mindanao, because there is no rubber plantations yet in Mindanao despite the abundance of rubber tree in the region.
