The tough talking former Mayor of Davao City turned President of the Republics blamed the deceased former President Cory Aquino for issuing a license that allowed Hong Kong mogul Jack Lam a perpetual license to operate in the Philippines.
PAGCOR Chairperson Andrea Domingo revealed that former Pres. Aquino issued a license to Jack Lam which was used by businessman to chat the national government for so long.
Pres. Rody Duterte released a very strong statement during his arrival press conference in Davao City from his official state visit in the Kingdom of Cambodia and th island state of Singapore.
The President also noted during the press conference that the controversial businessman Jack Lam was paying the government just a mere 1% compared to 10% supposed to be taxable income from other businessmen.
Former President Cory Aquino, the mother of former Pres. Noynoy Aquino granted a perpetual license that covered Jack Lam's businesses in Laoag City and the Clark Freeport.
The license given to the Hong Kong mogul is co-terminus with the life of PAGCOR. So if PAGCOR is extended, the contracts of Jack Lam are automatically extended.
Pres. Rody Duterte already fired two of his fraternity brothers in the Lex Talionis of San Beda College of Law, Immigration Deputy Commissioners Al Argosino and Michael Robles, who were accused of extorting P50 million from Lam for the release of illegal Chinese workers.
