Presidential Daughter and the tough-talking Mayor of Davao City, Mayor Inday Sara Duterte confirmed in an interview with some media people that she was indeed visited by former Vice Presidential bet Bongbong Marcos and his sister Sen. Imee Marcos in Davao City.
Mayor Sara Duterte was quoted as saying "I confirm the picture taken yesterday in Davao City. I would like to thank Senator Imee and former Senator Bongbong Marcos for their birthday greetings and my husband for lunch he hosted." Mayor Sara stated.
Numerous photos are already circulating online with the highly anticipated meeting between two of the most popular national political figures from the Solid North and the Solid South.
The Mayor from Davao City, Mayor Sara celebrated her 43rd birthday today, May 30, 2021. A day before the celebration of the Mayor's birthday her husband hosted a lunch with visitors from solid North, Sen. Bongbong Marcos and Sen. Imee Marcos.
During the latest Pulse Asia pre-election survey conducted last April, Mayor Sara Duterte tops the poll with 27% of respondents prefer her to be the next President of the Philippines.
Mayor Inday was followed closely by former Sen. Bongbong Marcos who got 13% who is prefered by the respondents as the second best candidate to run the country after the administration of Pres. Rody Duterte.
For the past few months, Mayor Duterte has said that she has no plans to run for President, but a huge number of her supporters are already gaining some grounds in various cities and provinces urging the Mayor to run for President and followed the footsteps of her father.
Meanwhile, for losing Vice Presidential bet Bongbong Marcos, he already confirmed to the media that he will still be running for some higher positions but once he will be fitted against Mayor Sara Duterte, he will definitely give way to the Mayor of Davao City.
The reported meeting between Sen. Bongbong Marcos and Mayor Sara Duterte was received positively by the supporters of the President and supporters of the Marcos Family who speculates that the meeting was just the beginninng for future partnerships between the two leaders.
