Veteran and controversial journalist Joseph Morong of GMA News made headlines anew on social media after his alleged misleading inquiry on ninja cops during a press conference of Pres. Rody Duterte.
Joseph Morong who is dubbed by some netizens as a biased reporter from the mainstream media for his line of questioning in various instances inside the Palace, asked Pres. Rody Duterte on his reactions with the recent spat involving PNP Chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde and former General Benjamin Magalong.
Pres. Rody Duterte on his response, answered by saying that in obedience to the separation of powers and respect to each other's department between the executive and the Senate, the President noted that he should allow the Senate to complete it's investigation.
The President explained that if the report will be sent to him, he will forward the said issues to the department who is in charge with the Philippine National Police.
The most proper thing to do which is in line with the procedural due process is to await for the closure of the investigation by the Senate and when it is forwarded to the President and it will be forwarded to the DILG Secretary and if he needs to conduct another investigation, he could do so.

Pres. Duterte also noted that all the investigations conducted by the Senate are under under oath and hopes that all the testimonies are truthful.
Joseph Morong made a follow up question by asking on the possibility of the dismissal of PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde and how it will affect on the President's confidence with the PNP Chief.
Pres. Duterte responded by lecturing Morong on his alleged biased inquiry.

Pres. Duterte stated.
