Ex-Army Ranger Asks AFP to Disclose the List of Terrorist-Connected NGOs Funded by Belgium in PH


Former elite member of the Scout Ranger Regiment of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Army Major Abe Purugganan asked the leadership of the AFP to disclose the list of NGO's connected with the terrorist groups who received funds from Belgium.


Major General Antonio Parlade Jr., the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, J7, AFP, revealed that they received some information from the Belgian government that they are actually providing funds to these organizations in the Philippines through Belgian NGOs.



The Belgian government admitted according to Major Gen. Parlade that they are giving 3 million euros every year for five years, totaling fifteen million euros, or close to P1 billion.

"We receive information from the Belgian government, that they are actually providing funds to these organizations in the Philippines through Belgian NGOs. They are giving 3 million euros every yearfor five years, totaling fifteen million euros. That's close to 1 billion pesos. But we already have an idea where these funds are going. A list was provided by the Belgians,a nd we realized that these groups are allies and front organizations of the CPP-NPA-NDF."

The statement of Major Genera Parlade reached the desk of Sir Abe Purugganan a veteran intelligence officer and elite member of the Scout Ranger who asked through social media for the AFP to disclose the names of the NGOs in the Philippines receiving funds from Belgian NGO's.

The list of NGO's must be published. DOJ must investigate and file cases against them. Pag huhulihin niyo na rin.

Our government should conduct a conference among the members of the diplomatic corps to make them aware of the finance work of the CPP/NPA/NDF.

And declare NDF as a terrorist organization.
