Veteran Duterte defender and prominent lawyer, Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles shared her meaningul observation on the alleged flawed logic of Kabataan Party-list Rep. Sarah Elago regarding the appearance of a student activist that was reportedly went missing.
According to Atty. Angeles, she thinks that Sarah Elago will not be happy if her comments will come to the attention of the controversial activist as Atty. Angeles remarked that Elago's logic is problematic.
The statement of the veteran lawyer came out after the two activists showed up in a presscon a few days after the controversial issue of some missing students caught the netizens attention. The mere showing up of the two students, doesn't mean, everything is fine.
Atty. Trixie cited two reasons why Sarah Elago's logic is flawed.
First, if the kids were minors at the time when they were taken by Anakbayan, despite the fact that they are now of legal age, they still have liability.
Second reason, is the controversial Tokhang issue which is separate from the students sins against the parents of the children they recruited to have with their ranks. There's no need for another Tokhang drama because cases were filed already at the Supreme Court.
