Veteran lawyer and prominent social media defender of Pres. Rody Duterte, Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles explained the reasons why the President decided to veto the controversial ENDO Bill and as he said that the bill is very strict and unfriendly to business.
The decision to veto the ENDO Bill was used by the critics and haters of Pres. Rody Duterte as they rode on with the issue to attack the President.
Before the black propaganda against the President could spread and damage the popularity rating of PRRD, DDS Lawyer Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles immediately shared some interesting insights to correct and lessen the damage, that the fake news could be peddled by the critics of the President.
According to Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles, the President hates absolutes, meaning, he is against the idea that all employees are regularized because there is a labor law that allows contracting for services not directly related to the business. She gives an example like those working as security guards and other janitorial services.
Aside from that, PRRD believed that the memoranda of the DOLE Secretary on security of tenure are sufficient to protect against illegal labor contracting until a more responsive law is passed.

First, he does not want absolutes na lahat ng employees ay regularized, kasi may legal na labor only contracting for services not directly related to the business. Halimbawa, security guards, janitorial services.
Second, yung recent na mga memoranda ng DOLE Secretary on security of tenure are sufficient to protect against illegal labor only contracting until a more responsive law is passed.
Third, companies should be allowed to do labor only contracting subject to current laws, IF there is no detriment to the workers, the contracting company is sufficiently capitalized and observes the law on benefits and security of tenure and if such services result in more efficient delivery of services.
So para sa pangulo, masyadong strikto ang nagawang bill.
