Journalist Reveals the Reasons Why Liberalism is Dying Not Only in the Philippines But Worldwide

Veteran journalist and prominent political analyst Jose Alejandrino others parts of the some of the main reasons why Liberalism is dying not only in the Philippines but also in other parts of the world.

According to Alejandrino, Liberalism is being replaced by populism and nationalism andeventually authoritarianism as world problems continue to mount.

The veteran author and international political analyst stated that he had predicted this a long time ago in many of his postings and he is glad Russian President Vladimir Putin shared his views.

In the Philippines, Liberalism just obstructed Pres. Duterte's agenda of change, but during the last election, LP's Otso Diretso was decimated.

More and more Filipinos are now realizing that Pres. Marcos' brand of dictatorship was not as bad as the liberals had painted him. Preceding presidencies of Cory and Noynoy were dismal failures with corruption, insurgency and illegal drugs were widespread.

Read the Complete Statement of Jose Alejandrino:

"Liberalism is dying as people around the world recognize it had brought nothing but problems. It is being replaced by populism and nationalism and eventually authoritarianism as world problems continue to mount.

I had predicted this a long time ago in many postings and am glad Russia’s Vladimir Putin shares my views. Look at what liberalism has done to PH. Liberals just obstructed Duterte’s agenda of change.

At the May 2019 mid-term elections, the LP’s Otso Diretso was decimated, as I had also predicted before the May elections were held. Filipinos, tired of obstruction by liberals, will welcome more and more Duterte’s firm way of governing.

More and more Filipinos now realize that Ferdinand Marcos’ brand of dictatorship was not as bad as the liberals had painted him. The preceding presidencies of Cory and Noynoy were dismal failures. Corruption, insurgency, illegal drugs were widespread under the Aquinos. The senatorial bid of Bam Aquino was rejected last May.

On the other hand, the people voted in Imee Marcos. These are concrete proofs liberalism in PH has lost its allure. The same phenomena we are witnessing in other countries around the world like Turkey, Brazil, and in Eastern Europe."
