One of the country's most popular public figure, Senator Manny Pacquiao burned down Karen Davila on national TV after the latter tried to undermine Pacquiao's educational background.
Karen Davila on her TV show on ANC News Channel asked Sen. Manny Pacquiao "Sa mga debate ngayon tinatanong, palagay n'yo ba kailangan ng college degree para sa isang senador?" "College degree para sa isang pangulo, sang-ayon ka ba doon Manny?" Davila asked.
When Pacquiao responded by saying "sa akin is ah... sang-ayon naman ako doon" but Davila interrupted by saying "pero hindi ka na mag-qualify" Davila asked.
Watch How Karen Davila Asks Sen. Pacquiao:
Sen. Manny Pacquiao made his brilliant answer by saying "Nag-aaral naman ako," Karen interrupted "May degree ka na?" Davila asked, but Manny replied "yes, nag-aaral ako," Davila asked further "May degree ka na?" Pacquiao then added "Malapit na."
The lawmaker and veteran world champion boxer revealed further that he is indeed schooling but refused to reveal what university he is studying right now but for sure he is aiming for a degree.
Sen. Manny Pacquiao then explained to Karen Davila that "The most important thing is that, alam mo yong sitwasyon ng problema ng bansa natin."
Karen Davila seems surprised with the revelations of Sen. Manny Pacquiao that he is now studying and seems to be at par with his compatriot in the Philippine Senate despite his background.
