Veteran lawyer and prominent head of the Public Attorneys Office, Atty. Persida Ruedas-Acosta tells Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Undersecretary Lorraine Marie Badoy "Ikaw ang Mayabang."
The statement of Atty. Persida Acosta came out on social media after it was shared by Thinking Pinoy. The reactions of Atty. Acosta against USec Badoy was his response to the defense made by Badoy to Health Secretary Francisco Duque over the Dengvaxia scandal.
Atty. Persida Acosta was quoted as saying "Nakalimot si Dra. Badoy sa kanyang Hippocratic Oath na 'First, do no harm'. Kampi kay Duque? Siya ang mayabang. Kailan lang ba siya napalapit kay PRRD? Parang sila na lang ang mga anak ng Diyos." Atty. Acosta stated.
The veteran lawyer and head of PAO, Atty. Acosta added further that USec Badoy should listen to the victims and not only the respondents like Sec. Duque. She should be impartial because cases were already filed against Duque, therefore she should not defend the DOH Chief.
