A veteran member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines elite unit, the Scout Ranger Regiment of the Philippine Army, Major Abe Purugganan burned down Mar Roxas anew on social media after his controversial statement against the government.
In an interview with CNN Philippines, Mar Roxas was quoted as saying "Susuportahan ko ang paggamit ng intelligence funds para alamin kung nasaan ang laboratories, drug funders," Roxas stated.
The statement of Mar Roxas during CNN Philippines' Second Senatorial Forum caught the attention of Sir Abe Purugganan of the Army's Scout Ranger and at the same time former member of the elite intelligence group of the AFP by saying, it is already a proven fact that the intel funds were used to support the peace and order program of the government.
Purugganan also asked Mar Roxas on where did he used the intel fund of the Philippine National Police during the time when he was the DILG Secretary. The veteran scout ranger also asked the reasons why illegal drugs proliferated during his tenure as head of the DILG that controls the PNP.
According to Purugganan, Mar Roxas should realize that there's a huge possibility that he could be the one to blame on the proliferation of illegal drugs in the country due to his failure to combat the menace during his tenure as head of the DILG under the Noynoy Aquino administration.
