Pres. Duterte Burns Dingdong Dantes for Making Statement About Lowering the Age of Criminal Liability
Kapuso star and one of the country's prominent actor allied with the Liberal Party, Dingdong Dantes made headlines on mainstream media because of his statement in the controversial bill lowering the age of criminal liability from 15 to nine years old, but he was burned down by no less than the President himself.
Dingdong Dantes was quoted by the mainstream media saying "Crucial stage ang childhood and adolescence to one’s development. These are periods where psychological, emotional, social and physical aspects are strongly influenced by the surroundings and are formed." Dantes stated.
The actor also tweeted that "Instead of focusing on criminalizing children, the government should invest more on creating an enabling environment that will allow young people to be productive members of the society," he wrote.
According to some netizens, the statement and concerned of Dingdong Dantes was already addressed by the President, therefore, he was burned down by the previous statement of Pres. Duterte protecting the welfare of children.

A concerned netizen even asked "Why didn't Kiko create that law to punish the exploiters of children?" Under the proposed the proposed law, the maximum penalty for individuals and criminal syndicates found guilty of exploiting children to be youth offenders is reclusion perpetua or life imprisonment.
The Yellow Liberals, oppositions and other critics of the President are spreading the lie that children will be sent to jail. The truth is that NO PENALTY OF IMPRISONMENT would be upon children nine years old and below.
