The tough-talking President of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte slammed Sen. Kiko Pangilinan anew for his controversial Juvenile Justice Law which the President blamed as the main reason why minors involved in crimes were proliferating in the country.
In a message intended to Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, the President was quoted as saying "He must have the balls to accept na siya ang, created a monster. Ang Pilipino binoto nila, eh di sige, iboto ninyo uli nung anu-anong pag-isipan na batas." Pres. Duterte stated.
The President added further that "Ako kaibigan ko si Pangilinan but he produced a generation of criminals."

This is not the first time that Pres. Rody Duterte called out the attention of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan about his controversial Juvenile Justice Law, last November the President even called Pangilinan as the "dumbest" lawyer in the country.
Pres. Duterte admitted that Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is his friend but laments the exemption of minors below 15 years old from criminal liability, citing that it causes great injustice.
The former Mayor of Davao City slammed the law authored by Sen. Pangilinan for allegedly leaving children in conflict with the law who are aged 16 and 17 at the hands of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
