Former Solicitor General made headlines on social media after he was burned down by a concerned netizen for his statement criticizing the Duterte administrations and some of his alleged subordinates or supporters.
SolGen Hilbay took to Twitter criticizing the Duterte admin by saying "one of the most important functions of leadership is setting both the tone and standard for publicly acceptable behavior. kung barubal ugali sa taas, yung mga kaalyado sa gilid at baba pakiramdam may lisensyang gumaya."
The statement of Hilbay, one of the most vocal critic of Pres. Rody Duterte did not sit well among netizens and DDS supporters but one of the netizens took the courage to burned down Hilbay on Twitter.
Netizen Space Cadet replied to former SolGen Hilbay's statement by saying "Well, that explains a lot about you then. Yang boss mo mahilig manisi sa iba, parang ikaw. Role models pala topic natin ha..:)" Space Cadet tweeted.
Aside from concerned netizen Space Cadet, other supporters of Pres. Duterte also lambasted the former Solicitor General during the Aquino administration.
