Must Watch: Boracay Rehabilitation Part 2 (Ang Pagbangon ng Isla) Documentary of RTVM Went Viral (Viral)
The official media provider of the Philippine Government RTVMalacanang released the second part of the highly anticipated documentary "Ang Pagbangon ng Boracay" on August 20, 2018 or at 71 day from the closure of the island as ordered by Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.
On its second documentary after at least two months of closure, RTVM revisits the world-renowned island of Boracay to report the latest developments of the projects being undertaken by the inter-agency Task Force on Boracay Rehabilitation since its closure on April 26, 2018.

The documentary entitled "Ang Pagbangon ng Isla," a 10-minute-plus documentary features the new Circumferential Road and Similar Road rehabilitation projects being installed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), as well as updates on the demolition of shanties in one of the island’s wetlands.
Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Roy Cimatu also reveals the agency’s plans to enforce a new sewer treatment plant (STP) scheme and to decongest the island.
DENR Sec. Roy Cimatu also revealed that the agency already made some measures against the illegal sewage lines in the island, DENR will strictly implement the requirements of having a soil treatment plants (STP).
During the 71st day after the closure, the coliform count went down or passed the needed regulations, after the follow-up study of the waters of Boracay Island.
The DPWH for their part, continued their 12-meter road widening project and the 25+5 easement along the famous White Beach. The Boracay Circumferential Road is nearing completion which will make the traffic situation faster and the widening of the Main Road of Boracay.
