ABS-CBN Publicist Calls Sen. Manny Pacquiao as "Pinakabobong Senador"

Veteran author and a well-known ABS-CBN publicist, Eric John Salut made headlines on social media after he called the fighting senator of the Philippines, Sen. Manny Pacquiao as the dumbest senator "Pinakabobong Senador," on his official social media account.

The statement of Eric John Salut was posted on Twitter after the huge victory of Sen. Manny Pacquiao over the former Argentine Welterweight world champion Lucas Matthysse on Sunday, July 14, 2018.

The ABS-CBN Publicist also admitted in one of his tweet that he was not proud of Manny Pacquiao's achievement in the ring because the senator allegedly failed to defend the God of the Christians during the time when Pres. Duterte lambasted the God of the Roman Catholic Church.

The statement of Eric John Salut on social media caught the attentions of Duterte and Pacquiao supporters who lambasted him with various harsh messages and comments due to his statement against Sen. Manny Pacquiao.

The ABS-CBN Publicist also criticized Sen. Manny Pacquiao by saying that the senator is also the most lazy senator before the controversial "Pinakabobong Senador" comment. Salut didn't care also if more and more people will bashed him on social media due to his statement against the fighting senator.

Instead of supporting Manny Pacquiao, during the game between Pacquiao and Matthysse, John Salut also rooted for Lucas Matthysse instead of defending Manny Pacquiao as he is also a Filipino.
