International lawyer and prominent sister of the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack lambasts controversial Senator and former PhilHealth official Sen. Risa Hontiveros for saying that it's already "Game Over" for SolGen Jose Calida.
Atty. Paula Knack also wondered if ever Sen. Risa Hontiveros could survive once, Pres. Duterte chooses his next Ombudsman, due to her alleged involvement in violating the human rights of the sick PhilHealth recipeient during her term as of it's board member under the Aquino administration.
The veteran international lawyer also showed some evidences of the alleged vote-buying activities of Sen. Risa Hontiveros during the PhilHealth's distribution of MDRs and IDs in coordination with Akbayan Party-list.
According to Atty. Knack the alleged gestures of Sen. Hontiveros is in violation of Section 261 of the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines prohibiting vote buying and use of public funds for an election campaign. As an evidence against Hontiveros, Atty. Knack showed the campaign team of Hontiveros "posted a photo in social networking site Facebook with a caption that reads: PhilHealth MDRs and IDs distribution and registration with Risa Hontiveros and Akbayan Partylist."
Sen. Hontiveros in a report posted by DZMM TeleRadyo admiitted that Kenneth Dong, an alleged druglord donated millions to her campaign funds. A total of P3 million and P5 million was came from Kenneth Dong to support the senatorial run of Hontiveros during the 2013 and 2016 elections respectively.
The controversial senator based on the report by DZMM also admitted that she was one of the GodMother of Kenneth During during his weddding.
