Jose Alejandrino's Brilliant Suggestion to PCOO: "Never Overreact"

Veteran author and political analyst Jose Alejandrino shared a simple but brilliant suggestions to PCOO in dealing with some silly things like the reactions to Pres. Duterte's kiss.

According to Jose Alejandrino, the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) should not overreact to silly things and don't help to raise them as issues.

He suggested that the PCOO should not magnify them and they should think before they react. The better way like that kissing incident is just to post pics of other world leaders being kissed, because pictures are better than a thousand words to show the absurdity of what Duterte's critics claim.

The veteran political analyst also noted that the opposition needs to stay in the limelight to stay alive. They will raise all kinds of non-issues. By overreacting the PCOO are playing their game, they should not play their game and most of all they should stay away from booby traps.

Here's the Complete Statement of Jose Alejandrino:

'NEVER OVERREACT'

By Jose Alejandrino

My advice to PCOO is don't overreact to silly things. Don't help to raise them as issues. Don't magnify them. Think before you react. The better way like that kissing incident is just to post pics of other world leaders being kissed. Pictures are better than a thousand words to show the absurdity of what Duterte's critics claim.

The Opposition needs to stay in the limelight to stay alive. They will raise all kinds of non-issues. By overreacting you're playing their game. Don't play their game. Stay away from booby traps.

When a news reporter asks a silly question about a non-issue, brush it away with a curt answer like "What's the problem? Haven't you been kissed before?"
