Veteran lawyer and former Congressman of Biliran Island, Atty. Glenn Chong exposed another controversy involving the camp of Vice President Leni Robredo as he revealed that VP Leni's attack against the mainstream media backfired on them.
In the latest post of Atty. Glenn Chong he revealed that VP Leni made a wrong move at the wrong time, as she tried to attack the mainstream media but the empire strikes back.
During the World Press Freedom Day, VP Leni attacked the reporters from Philippine Star, Manila Bulletin, Manila Standard, Daily Tribune and People's Television (PTV) due to the reports released by the news agencies exposing that VP Leni's went down with more than 21,000 votes.
Atty. Chong also revealed that during his previous post he already stated that VP Leni's intention is none other than shaming the mainstream media who attacked them and accusing them of being purveyor of fake news.

Nauna ko ng sinabi sa previous post na walang ibang pakay ang pagpuna na ito ni Robredo sa media kundi ipahiya ang nasabing reporter ng Philippine Star at ang mga pahayagang nagpalabas ng nasabing news report bilang purveyors of fake news.
Ang ginawa ni Robredo ay maihahalintulad sa prior restraint na isang uri ng censorship ng media. Layunin nito na takutin ang media upang hindi magpalabas ng mga news na hindi pabor o hindi naaayon sa pananaw ni Robredo.
Kaya nagsimula ng umalma ang media sa ginawa ni Robredo dahil malinaw sa kanila na ang ginawa ni Robredo ay prior restraint o prior censorship. Sa kanilang pananaw, ito ay atake sa freedom of the press.
