Sen. Pangilinan & Rep. Villarin's Criticism on Deportation Order by Duterte Admin Against Filibeck Backfires
Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and Akbayan Rep. Tom Villarin's criticisms against the deportation order issued by the Duterte admin against controversial activist Giacomo Filibeck backfires after netizens shared a signed letter of former DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima.
The LP President and one of the prominent member of the opposition, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan stated on social media account that he felt troubled upon learning the news on the possible crackdowns against international activists who wish to visit the Philippines.
Sen.
Akbayan Rep. Tom Villarin on his part seeks a congressional inquiry on the the deportation of Giacomo Filibeck, a party official from EU, who was supposed to speak at Akbayan gathering in Cebu City.
According to netizens, both Pangilinan ang Villarin should investigate first on why the international protesters were deported because of the fact that an immigration bulletin was already issued last 2015, signed and sealed by the Office of the Justice Secretary Leila M. De Lima.
Here's the Complete Operations Order Signed by De Lima:
