Veteran Journalist Challenges Sen. Drilon to Man Up Once CJ Sereno's Impeachment Reaches the Senate

Veteran journalist and former GMA-7 News presenter Jay Sonza challenged former Justice Secretary and incumbent Senator Franklin Drilon to man up and proved his loyalty to the Constitution once the controversial impeachment proceedings of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno reaches the Philippine Senate.

According to Jay Sonza, Sen. Franklin Drilon should proved once and for all his dignity as a laywer and representatives of the Filipino people working as a Senator once the case of Sereno reaches the Upper House.

Jay Sonza shared a photo of Sen. Drilon with an accompanying statment during the Corona Hearing that says "The Supreme Court dismissed Delsa Flores, a lowly court interpreter, for not reporting in her SALN her stall in a public market. The Chief Justice must be held to a much higher standard," Drilon stated.

Sen. Drilon was one of the senator judges during the impeachment hearing of the late Chief Justice Renato Corona who was impeached during the Aquino administration because of his failure to provide details on his SALN as Chief Justice.

Here's the Complete Statement and Challenge of Jay Sonza:
