SAP Bong Go Denies Allegations of His Involvement in the Frigate Deal Releases an Official Statement

Special Assistant to President (SAP) Secretary Bong Go denied all allegations thrown at him by the oppositions about his involvement in the controversial frigate deal which was made during the Aquino administration.


According to SAP Bong Go the frigate deal was already a "done deal" during the Aquino administration, nothing change and he did not do anything with the contract.

Secretary Bong Go was quoted as saying "Tapos na po ito sa panahon ng Aquino Administration. Walang nagbago, walang binago, walang nakialam at walang pinakialaman sa kontrata. Pangit man pakinggan, pero matatawag po na photo finish and kontrata dahil hinabol po ito bago matapos ang Aquino Administration. Inosente at idinamay lang po ako sa isyung ito upang siraan ang administrasyon ni Pangulong Duterte." SAP Go stated.

The controversy involving the frigate deal was blown out of propertion after a highly publicized post-it notes released by the mainstream media accusing SAP Bong Go of intervening with the frigate deal of the Philippine Navy.

Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano reiterated during some media interview that the Philippine Senate should investigate the controversial frigate deal during the Aquino admin but continued by the Duterte administration.

During the Senate Hearing on Frigate Deal, Sen. Antonio Trillanes keeps on implicating SAP Bong Go but he failed miserably despite the lenghtly demonstration of Sen. Trillanes trying to implicate the Special Assistant to the President.
