Secretary Eduardo Año of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) will investigate the reported rice seed bed tramping video in Abuyog, Leyte which went viral during the next few days, according to the statement released by Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol.
According to Sec. Piñol the DILG promised to investigate the incident showing a Barangay Chairman trampling on a rice seed bed.
The DILG Secretary was quoted as saying "Yes imbestigahan natin at tanggalin kung guilty" he told Piñol in Legazpi City today where the both joined Pres. Rody Duterte in visiting areas affected by Mayon Volcano eruption.
The DA Secretary also noted that Interior Secretary asked for a copy of the said controversial video which the office of the DA will forward along with an official referral.

Department of Interior and Local Government Acting Secretary Eduardo Año has to promised to investigate the Abuyog, Leyte barangay chairman who was seen in a video trampling on a rice seed bed.
“Yes imbestigahan natin at tanggalin kung guilty,” he told me in Legazpi City today where we both joined Pres. Rody Duterte in visiting areas affected by Mayon Volcano eruption.
He asked for a copy of the video which my office will forward to him along with an official referral.

"TULUNGAN NATING MAIVIRAL ETO NG MABIGYAN NG HUSTISYA ANG KAWAWANG MAGSASAKA NA INAABUSO NG BARANGGAY KAPITAN NA ITO!!
Nais ko lang po sanang ibahagi sa inyo ang sobrang kalupitan ng aming Brgy. Captain na si Bernabe De Veyra at ng kanyang bayaw na si Joseph "jojo" Almendra . Dito sa aming lugar sa Sitio Pili Brgy. Maging ang punla / binhi na palay ay inaapak-apakan nila.
