Mocha Uson Apologize to Some Mainstream Media But Maintains Criticisms Against Rappler, Inquirer & ABS-CBN (Video)
Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, one of the most followed social media personality in the Philippines made a public apology to some mainstream media after her controversial statement against them but she maintained her criticisms with Rappler, Inquirer and Rappler.
In a viral Facebook Video post, Asec Mocha Uson was quoted as saying "Ako po ay nagpapakumbaba sa inyo at humihing ng patawad, kung ako po ay nakasakit sa ilan ninyong mga reporter," Uson said in a video blog.
[Translation: I am humbly asking for your forgiveness if I have hurt any of your reporters.]

Mocha Uson who has more than 5 million followers on Facebook and considered as a staunch supporter of Pres. Rody Duterte, maintained her stance against other mainstream media organizations, including digital news outfit Rappler.
The viral video of Mocha Uson came after a request to remove Rappler from the Malacañang Press Corps and be reclassified as Social Media.
Uson was quoted as saying ""Hindi po titigil ang taumbayan sa pagbabantay sa inyo hanggang hindi niyo titigilan na sirain ang imahe ng Pilipinas lalo na sa ibang bansa," she said.
"Hindi po titigil ang taumbayan sa pagbabantay sa inyo hanggang hindi niyo titigilan na sirain ang imahe ng Pilipinas lalo na sa ibang bansa," she said.
[Translation: The country would not stop monitoring your every move unless you stop destroying the Philippines' image towards other countries.]
According to Mocha Uson reports from some news organizations make the job difficult for Filipinos to defend the quality of life in the Philippines.
She said the divide between her and media outfits began during Duterte's presidential campaign.
"Na-realize ko po na kung magpapatuloy tayo sa ganitong bangayan sa social media, wala pong mangyayari sa ating bayan. Mahal natin ang ating bayan at gusto natin ng tunay na pagbabago," Uson said.
