Former Philippine National Police Chief and veteran lawmaker Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson burns Commission on Human Rights Chairman Chito Gascon during the Senate Hearing in aid of legislation for the controversial War on Drugs under the administration of Pres. Duterte.
During one of the heated conversation between Gascon and Sen. Lacson, the veteran PNP officer burns the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) after they keep on insisting to let the PNP follow the rules on engagement.
According to CHR Chairman Chito Gascon the PNP should not directly kill the suspects but they should be careful in dealings with the suspects but Sen. Lacson reminded the CHR chairman the difference between the theories of police operations compared to the actual combat operations.
Sen. Lacson lambasts Gascon by saying that it only happened in movies that the Police should shot only at the feet and not directly kill the suspects.
